 Every government in Pakistan has taken measures to improve Pakistan’s educational system and eliminate inflation from the country in order to combat the low literacy rate for girls.

Mr. Shabaz Sharif, former Chief Minister of Pakistan, started the Khadim-e-Punjab Zewar-e-Taleem Program in 16 districts of Punjab in 2017, which Mr. Imran Khan continued.

According to the latest update of the 8171 Benazir Kafalat Program, the Zewar-e-taleem program is now providing its services to eligible girls who study in Punjab and cannot afford the books, stationery, and other essential requirements of study. Participants are able to register for the Zewaretaleem program and receive quarterly payments.

As part of the 8171 Zewar-e-Taleem Program, cash will be given conditionally to female students in government schools in sixteen districts with low literacy rates. The poor girls in Punjab will receive Rs1000 per month as a quarterly payment, which means that they will receive Rs3000 every three months.

Areas for the Zewar-e-Taleemi Program 

It is estimated that cash transfers from the Ahsas Zeware Taleem program are distributed in more than 16 districts of Punjab with low literacy rates for girls.

With the help of the Branchless Banking System developed by PSPA, the initiative aims to improve school enrollment and retention as well as meet the nutritional needs of adolescent girls.

Government schools in Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur, Bhakhar, Chiniot, DG Khan, Jhang, Kasur, Khanewal, Layyah, Lodhran, Muzaffargarh, Okara, Pakpattan, Rajanpur, Rahim Yar Khan, and Vehari will give female students a monthly stipend of Rs 1000.

To get the money, the girl must have an attendance rate of 80% in government schools.

Since most people do not teach their children because of inflation, the Pakistani government launched the Zero Education Program. In addition to the class sheets, this scheme provides the girls of Dahm with an installment payment of one thousand rupees for their further studies.
