Balochistan’s top 10 students to receive free education for 16 years

Balochistan’s Chief Minister has announced several scholarships for the top students in the country, both girls and boys, so that they can continue their education for free. In addition, the professor who was shot and killed by terrorists in 2010 will have his name engraved on a department at Quetta’s Government Girls Postgraduate College.

His speech at the convocation announced that the Benazir Bhutto Scholarship Programme would be launched for the first time in Balochistan. Through this program, the provincial government will provide 16 years of education for the top 10 male and female students in each district who achieve the highest marks in the Balochistan Board’s matriculation exams.

Naming A College Department After Professor Nazima Talib
A female professor at Balochistan University, Nazima Talib, was shot and killed by two men wearing masks on April 27 near Sariab Road in Quetta. Her murder had been attributed to the banned Baloch Liberation Army.
