Rs25 Billion For Scholarships Allocated By Maryam Nawaz, 27,200 Students To Receive E-Bikes

The following is the latest update for all eligible students and youth in Punjab who have applied for the Punjab E-Bike. As part of its first Phase launch on 11 July, Maryam Nawaz distributed all the electric bikes to the applicants in front of her. Her speech included a number of other schemes and plans for enhancing youth while she was delivering it.

Maryam Nawaz Allocated Rs25 Billion For Scholarships
The Punjab government launched the electric bike (E-Bike) program specifically for female students on Thursday, coinciding with Maryam Nawaz’s announcement of a Rs25 billion student scholarship program and the early launch of a laptop initiative. A Jampur college student also received a key to a motorcycle.
This important initiative as well as more advanced facilities for youth will encourage students to take greater interest in bringing more economic development to the country.

Phase II Of Punjab E-Bikes Will be Starting Soon For New Applicant
During her speech at the launch of E-bikes, she announced that the government would distribute more bikes through Phase II through an online web portal so that applicants can apply.
As a means of helping students, she said solar-powered charging stations would be installed in colleges and institutions. Additionally, she mentioned that children without parental affection would also receive bikes. The chief minister also granted Nawawa Mobilizers Company a license to manufacture e-loader rickshaws for the first time.
27,200 Applicants will receive E-Bikes From the Government Of Punjab
A total of 100,000 people applied for the Punjab E-Bike Scheme, from which 27,200 E-Bikes will be distributed by the government of Punjab.
Maryam Nawaz assured the Youth that the E-Bike Project was launched today, and we will add more [beneficiaries]. The Punjab government will cover the first Rs20,000 of each e-bike’s down payment of Rs40,000.
Women Empowered Under Maryam Nawaz’s Leadership
According to the chief minister, there is no female quota in any Punjab government program, and all districts are equally represented, but in this scheme, bikes are provided to every one of the 8,000 female students who applied.
During her speech, she assured the women that more resources and facilities would be provided for them, which they have been deprived of for many years.
Promise to Start Registration For Laptops Scheme Soon
CM Maryam Nawaz announced that the government would soon provide laptops to students and introduce a Rs25 billion scholarship program to ensure that no child is left without education due to financial instability. Children who have lost their parents are no longer guaranteed by the program.
In addition, the government will install solarized e-bike charging stations throughout Punjab, and recipients will receive battery insurance coverage. In her view, no recommendations influenced the distribution of bikes, which was done through e-balloting.
