PM Announces Good News For Public Regarding Relief On Electricity Bills | Latest Update 2024
Shabaz Sharif, Pakistan’s PM, delivered a speech on the 14th of August Independence Day in which he not only paid tribute to martyrs, but made a number of special announcements for Pakistani citizens to ease their electricity bills and other expenses. In regards to the electricity bills, he assured the public that good news would be available soon.

Shabaz Sharif’s relief on electricity bills
During a unique event on Pakistan’s Independence Day, Shehbaz Sharif honored those who sacrificed their lives in defense of the country. He also assured everyone they would soon receive good news about lower electricity rates.
پاکستان کے یوم آزادی پر منفرد تقریب کے دوران شہباز شریف نے ملک کے دفاع میں جانیں قربان کرنے والوں کو خراج عقیدت پیش کیا۔ انہوں نے سب کو یقین دلایا کہ انہیں جلد ہی بجلی کے کم نرخوں کے بارے میں اچھی خبر ملے گی۔ عوام سے اپنے خطاب میں وزیراعظم نے زور دیا کہ کاروبار اور زراعت کی ترقی کے لیے بجلی کے نرخ کم کیے جائیں اور حکومت اس کے لیے سخت محنت کر رہی ہے۔ اپنی جان کے خطرے کے باوجود، اس نے بجلی کی کم قیمت کے لیے دانتوں اور ناخنوں سے لڑنے کا وعدہ کیا۔
In his address to the public, the prime minister stressed that electricity rates must be lowered in order for business and agriculture to prosper and that the government is working hard to do so. In spite of the risk of his own life, he promised to fight tooth and nail for lower power costs.
