The beneficiaries of the Punjab Bike Schemes are currently checking their names and status in preparation for the Bike E balloting. However, the Punjab Bike Scheme is no longer available since registrations closed on April 29. Hopefully, this site will announce the motorcycle registrations in the second phase shortly. Who is Eligible For the Punjab Bike Scheme 

According to the Punjab Bike Scheme 2024, only qualified students -male or female applicants are welcome – will receive a bike at a very reasonable price.

More than 800,000 students in the province now have the opportunity to get their own transportation.

  • Students must be enrolled full-time in a degree program at an officially recognized college or university.
  • Motorcycle licenses or learner’s permits are required.

If their application is accepted, students will be required to make a down payment of Rs 25,000. Male students pay Rs 11,676 per month and female students pay Rs 7,325 per month. In the initial phase, distribution will be dictated by population density, with a primary focus on cities like Lahore, Rawalpindi, Bahawalpur, Faisalabad, and Multan.

Candidates will receive an installment plan from the Bank of Punjab (BOP). The candidate can decide to pay off the loan in full sooner after discussing this with the BOP.

Note: The bike’s registration fee is not included in the quoted price. The bike’s insurance is, however, covered by the payment/installment plan.

In any office, hand submitting applications is not permitted. Students must register online to access the scheme’s web portal. The web portal can be accessed at www.bikes.punjab.gov.pk.

The BOP will examine the Guarantor/Co-Borrower’s finances after the e-balloting has been completed. The BOP may request further documentation during this post-balloting examination.

Students whose post-balloting scrutiny by BOP is satisfactory will ultimately be certified successful and receive bikes. For this, they must submit the necessary documentation with their online application.

E-bikes will be available to 1,000 students in Phase I of the program, 700 of which will be for male students and 300 for female students. There will be 19,000 petrol bikes in Phase I, with 7,324 for female students and 11,676 for male students. The e-bikes will be provided to students enrolled at universities and graduate schools in the five cities of Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, and Bahawalpur.

It is only possible for students residing outside Punjab to apply for E-Bikes if they are enrolled in graduate programs in any of the five Punjabi cities listed above. In accordance with the Population Census 2023, a district-by-district allocation of the Petrol Bike Quota will be determined among students who are Punjab residents.
