The registrations for E-Bikes have closed, and a new date for its reopening has not been announced yet if you have not yet applied for the Bike Scheme. To obtain their new bike, students who have already applied for the Bike Scheme and whose names appear on the list of Balloting can go to their nearest branch of BOP.

How To Receive Punjab Bikes Through BOP Branch?

When you have all the paperwork in hand, you can easily pick up your bikes at the nearest BOP branch. Just follow these simple steps:

  • Punjab Bikes are still distributed by BOP Punjab.
  • Once their registrations have been accepted, students can visit their university’s BOP booth, consumer center, or branch.
  • The insurance premium and equity form must be sent in.
  • Receive the delivery order from the BOP consumer center.
  • You can pick up your bicycle at the designated dealer.

If you follow the above-mentioned procedures, you will receive your bike on the same day for free.

Punjab Government Will Pay The Extra Charges

For bikes that run on gasoline and electric power, the Punjab government will give 20,000 and 50,000 rupees, respectively. The government covers the remaining amount, so equity, monthly payments, and insurance premiums are the only additional payments.
