[8171] BISP Budget Increased by 29%: Find Out How Beneficiaries Will Benefit!

Now that the Benazir Income Support program is expanding to enroll more beneficiaries who live below the poverty line, it is now registering more new beneficiaries. It has been announced by an official at BISP that the BISP Program’s budget has increased by 29%, which is good news for all beneficiaries.

8171 Benazir Income Support Program is striving to expand its assistance to those in need. The government has approved an increase in the number of beneficiaries to one crore for this fiscal year. Registration for new applicants has now begun at Bisp Tehsil offices across Pakistan through the NSER Survey. The overall goal is to reach a total of one crore (10 million) beneficiaries for BISP. Currently, approximately 93 lakh individuals are already receiving this support, but the government aims to provide even more people with this aid.

Many people living in “Katchi Abbadis” can not easily access the BISP Centers and many are also unaware of the Benazir Income Support Program. Because of this, BISP launched the Mobile Van registration service in far areas of Pakistan so that more people can enroll and receive the 10500 Monthly Kafalat Payment as part of this initiative.

What are the benefits of this increase for the beneficiaries?

The federal government has decided to fund the BISP with an additional Rs. 593 billion. This represents a 29% increase compared to last year. With more money on hand, BISP is able to assist more people. Government efforts to assist individuals in need are clearly demonstrated by this development.
