President Expands BISP Program: New Registrations Now Open Nationwide

There was a very important meeting today in Islamabad between the President of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari, and Rubina Khalid, Chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Program. In the meeting, the Pakistani President made a significant decision, stating that he feels the program should be expanded. As a result, President Zardari placed a high priority on expanding BISP’s reach to include more underprivileged groups.
