BISP Payments Are Only For Women; Men Are Not Eligible – 8171 Update

BISP Payments Are Only For Women; Men Are Not Eligible - 8171 Update

Women who are related to the most vulnerable families and are unable to meet their basic life needs are specifically targeted by the Benazir Income Support Program. Many BISP beneficiaries and those who are interested in joining the program do not know about its vision and criteria. As a result, the Benazir Social Program provides financial assistance to women so that they can meet their needs and give better education to their children through Benazir Taleemi Wazaif.

Only deserving women are supported by the Benazir Program

The latest update from Rubina Khalid’s Live Session indicates that only women of their families can apply for financial assistance from the 8171 Kafalat Program with a valid CNIC card for the Benazir Program. You can therefore send your mother, sister, or eligible wife to BISP Tehsil to complete the NSER Survey and complete the registration process if they have a valid CNIC Card.

The complete details can be found in Rubina Khalid’s BISP Live Session.

Men’s CNIC Card Can Not Be Registered In BISP Program

A common problem among many people is the lack of knowledge about the BISP Program, even though it has been running for many years. Despite this, thousands of people still believe that men can be registered in the BISP Program and receive a monthly 10500 Kafalat payment. As the BISP Program has been started with the aim of assisting poor Pakistani women and their children to improve their standard of living, this concept is completely wrong.

Who Can Apply for The Benazir Income Support Program?

In order to apply for Benazir Kafalat payments through the BISP Tehsil office, women must meet the following criteria:

  • The applicant needs to be a Pakistani national.
  • In order to qualify for Ehsaas, you must be poor, in need of assistance, and at least 18 years old.

Update on Benazir Kafalat 2024

The State Bank of Pakistan has announced that all BISP beneficiaries who are registered to get their monthly wazaif will soon have their bank accounts opened. This will allow them to trade their money directly at any time and from anywhere. Women with qualifying incomes will be able to create accounts with their local banks and withdraw money directly from those accounts under the BISP Sahulat Account Program, which will be implemented soon for 9.3 million women.

The framework allows around 9.3 million BISP beneficiaries to open a “BISP Sahulat Account” at a local bank branch in one visit.

In conclusion

Women from vulnerable families in Pakistan are only eligible for financial assistance under the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP), which has been designed to meet their basic needs and provide support for their children’s education. In order to be eligible for BISP benefits, the eligible female member of the family must complete the registration process. Men are not eligible to receive payments or register with their CNICs.
