40,000 Kisan Card 1st Stage Distribution Has Been Started:

The CM of Punjab began distributing Kisan Cards to registered people on 10th September 2024. In the first phase, 40,000 cards will be issued to farmers. These cards will be valid after 15 October. In a year, around five lakh farmers will benefit from this Kisan Card. Farmers will be able to use Kisan Cards to grow wheat from mid-next month.

The Kisan Card Scheme provides small farmers with interest-free loans and makes it easier for them to purchase seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides.

CM Kisan Card Online Application

Those who are eligible for the Kisan Card can apply online. If you have internet access and easily apply online you can follow the instructions to obtain your Kisan Card from the Agriculture Tehsil Office.

  • Create a mobile account (MA)or wallet (MV).
  • Buy the Kisan Tokens which are available for Rs 500.
  • Complete the application process at the Tehsil Office.
  • Complete the paperwork and submit it.
  • Get a confirmation SMS after submission.
  • Kisan Card can issued at the Tehsil.

Punjab Kisan Card can be applied for via SMS one more time.

  1. Open your mobile Messager.
  2. Enter pkc <Space> CNIC number in the text.
  3. Send it to 8070.
  4. You need sufficient balance to send the sms to 8070.
  5. You’ll get the text if you’re eligible.
  6. The co-branded Kisan Card at the agriculture tehsil office is collected by farmers after 15 to 20 days.

Benchmarks for CM Kisan Card eligibility:

  • The farmer should own  12.5 acres of land.
  • Mobile SIM cards must be registered against a farmer’s CNIC.
  • NADRA information must be used by the government to verify the applicant’s ID card.
  • A loan will be available to farmers whose records are available in PLRA.
  • If you’ve made timely, monthly payments on the interest-free loan for six months, you may qualify for another loan.
  • By using PITB’s Farmers Registration Database, farmers will be digitally verified.

Through Kisan Cards, farmers can get up to Rs 150,000 in loans:

A total of 0.5 million farmers are eligible for loans ranging from PKR 30,000 to PKR 150,000 per acre under the Kisan Card Program, according to the Punjab government. To improve agricultural production and get profitable output, they provide interest-free loans and facilitate farmers’ access to inputs.

The Agricultural Mall Pilot Project has been approved:

Agricultural Mall Pilot Projects have been approved by the CM in Sargodha, Sahiwal, Bahawalpur, and Okara, which will allow farmers to access pesticides, medicines, fertilizer, and agricultural goods. As part of the CM Green Tractor Scheme, 10,000 tractors will be distributed to farmers.
