Benazir Income Support Programme has released an update saying that the program does not send money through EasyPaisa, so all eligible or ineligible people are advised to stay away from fraudulent activities and only believe in messages that come from 8171.

Stay Away From Fraudulent in the Name of the BISP Program: Awareness Message by DG Naveed Akhtar
A clear explanation of the frauds taking place in the name of the BISP Program was provided by the Director General of the BISP Program, Naveed Akhtar. He warns all Pakistani poor people to stay away from these fake messages and calls asking for data or money through EasyPaisa.

EasyPaisa is not used by the BISP Program to transfer money and messages requesting money to qualify for the 8171 new payment of 10500 are not from the BISP Official site. Therefore, you should ignore these types of messages and only trust the valid information that comes from bisp.gov.pk.
I am going to tell you about some of the important things that are happening to innocent people who are robbed by fraud phone calls and messages.
Currently, the March disbursement of 10500 is being distributed to those who are registered under the BISP Program. Those who qualify for the Benazir Kafalat Program will also receive their payments. Unfortunately, there have been reports of fraudulent individuals reaching out to vulnerable individuals through phone calls and messages, falsely claiming to be from the BISP office. These scammers may ask for payment in order for the recipient to become eligible for the Benazir Income Support Programme.
People who are very innocent and do not understand the scam then provide their details and cash to these people to become eligible for the program. Therefore, it is strictly advised that you do not believe any of these phone calls until you verify that the call is from 8171.
A final note is that there are no fees for surveys in BISP Dynamic Registration or No fees for the Bisp 10500 Payment. To register for the Benazir Kafalat Program, individuals must visit the nearest BISP Tehsil offices and fill out a dynamic survey.
It is very important to understand that you will receive an authentic message from the Benazir income support program only through one official number and that number is “8171”. You can also check your eligibility for the EHSAAs program by sending your CNIC to this number by SMS.
BISP will always contact its beneficiaries through 8171, and messages coming from other numbers or platforms are fraudulent.
The staff at your nearest BISP office can better assist you when confronting fraudulent activities, and I recommend that you do so before taking any action.
Update on the Benazir Income Support Program for July
The BISP beneficiaries who have been receiving financial support for many months now have a new update, as the new payment for March will continue in April as well. If you have not received your Benazir Kafalat Payments, you can now check your 8171 CNIC status online to check your money status.
Currently, the only means for eligible individuals to receive their 10500 payment is through camps or shops, and numerous scammers have emerged and given people fake cheques purporting to be from the BISP Program. The BISP warns the public not to fall for these schemes and to only trust official sources of information.
