BISP Alert: Sindh, Punjab, And Balochistan Will No longer Receive Payments After 9th August

In accordance with the Director General of BISP Program, Naveed Akbar, the last date for BISP April to June payments to beneficiaries in all of Pakistan has been announced. It is the last day for BISP beneficiaries to receive their 8171 payments after 9th August, as the 10500 Kafalat funds will be held back by the banks after that date and the remaining women for April to June payments won’t receive them after that date.
No More April Payments To Be Given In Pakistan After 9th August 2024
The Director General of the Benazir Income Support Program has shared an important message with the BISP Beneficiaries in which he gave a clear deadline to the people that if they have not received the April to June payments from the campsites, 9th August will be the last day for these installments as their current banks will be terminating their contract with them.
In the near future, BISP will enter into a partnership with six other banks, so they will receive their next installment of September through these New banks without any deductions.
Why Is The BISP Adding Other Banks For 8171 Kafalat Payments?
According to Rubina Khalid, the program management has set up payment campsites with efficient staff to ensure transparency in Kafaalat payments. She asserted that corruption or maltreatment of female BISP recipients will not be tolerated.
To combat fraud, a digital payment solution is being developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Information Technology (MOIT).
