NADRA Launches New B-Form Services for Children Aged 10 & Above!
The NADRA has recently made an announcement regarding the Children B-Form for 2025, introducing new rules and security features. This form has now become a crucial document for obtaining a passport. A new B-Form Is Required For Passport Making
Mohsin Naqvi emphasized the need for a new B-Form when applying for a passport, as it now includes the child’s fingerprints and photo. It should be noted that older B-Forms without these features will not be considered valid.
Why New Features Have Been Added to the NADRA B-Form
According to Mohsin Naqvi, a spokesperson for the interior ministry, implementing this measure will decrease the risk of children’s personal information being stolen or exploited. He emphasized the importance of the new B-Form in addressing issues such as fraudulent passports, fake IDs, and human trafficking.
Future Reforms
The Ministry of Interior’s spokesperson also informed that future reforms will include additional identification methods at union councils, such as fingerprints, photos, and iris scans. Furthermore, the province’s Civil Registration Management Systems will be linked with NADRA’s identity system.
