Enhancing BISP Phase 3: Addressing Mistakes For Greater Efficiency

Here is the latest Update from the Benazir Income Support program, the new phase of BISP Kafalat April to June payment is still ongoing in almost all districts of Pakistan, and millions of beneficiaries have already received their payments through Phase I, II, and III.

Before starting Phase 3, the BISP Director General has given strict instructions to the staff and to the beneficiaries so that any mistakes made in the past few days will be corrected.

Phase 3 of the BISP: Improvements By BISP Staff

As per BISP Director General Naveed Akbar, there were numerous errors and negligence observed during the First and Second Phases of this month’s Benazir Kafalat’s 10500 Payment. In preparation for Phase 3, he instructed his team to learn from their past mistakes and avoid making them again. To improve Phase 3, he proposed implementing various changes in the distribution strategy to ensure beneficiaries receive their payments without having to visit campsites daily.

Benazir Kafalat Phase One and Phase Two Lessons

Director General Naveed Akbar recently delivered a video message to all BISP staff members operating in all three Phases that was very educational and informative. In his video message, he explained that Phase 3 of the BISP April to June Payment will begin on July 3rd, and that during this phase, all SOPs and program policies must be followed.

In order to expedite the process, he instructed the Compliance monitor to conduct the screening early in the morning and to arrive at 7 a.m. to avoid making the Beneficaries wait too long.

Issuing Tokens to the Beneficaries In The Right Way- To Eliminate Mistakes 

Every beneficiary who shows up on one day should not receive the token.

Keep track of how many ladies can receive their reward on any given day by counting the Beneficiary first.

• You should therefore distribute the tokens to a limited number of recipients.
• In light of that, you ought to distribute the tokens to a limited group of recipients.
• In contrast, you can offer the remaining women a token for the following day. The staff will then have to prioritise them and give them their payment first when they arrive.

BISP Phase 3 With More Improvements

During the first 10-12 days after receiving payment, beneficiaries avoid camping

The most crucial point covered by Naveed Akbar in his most recent video was this: he advised beneficiaries not to visit the BISP Campsites during the first 10-12 days,, but to return after a week or two after receiving a message from 8171. Once that happens, they should be aware that their payments are safe in their accounts and that no one else will take them; instead, they can withdraw their money whenever they wish.
