Huawei plans to train 300,000 young Pakistanis in ICT

Among the latest developments for all Pakistanis is the establishment of a new partnership between the government and Huawei company in China. Huawei will train 300,000 Pakistanis in the best information and communication technology available in the world, according to the agreement.

According to a press release, Rana Mashood, chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Program, stopped by Huawei’s Islamabad office on Saturday to discuss the details of a massive training initiative that will provide 300,000 young Pakistanis with advanced information and communication technology (ICT) skills.
After important technical meetings on September 4 and 5, the conference marked a significant step forward in the integration of Huawei’s cutting-edge training materials into Pakistan’s educational system. Huawei’s extensive global experience and state-of-the-art training resources are being used to enhance technical education under the direction of Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.
A Partnership between NAVTCC and Pakistan to Enhance Technical Education and Skills
Shehbaz Sharif’s visit to Huawei’s office in China laid the groundwork for this collaboration, which emphasizes Huawei’s commitment to Pakistan’s technical education system.
In addition to promoting innovation and skill development, it is expected that this beneficial partnership will significantly improve the standard and accessibility of technical education throughout Pakistan. In order to implement the Prime Minister’s initiative, the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) will be the implementation partner.

He invited Huawei to expand its involvement in Pakistan’s Safe City projects and engage in taxation and e-government during his visit to the company’s headquarters. As he arrived at Huawei’s headquarters, national anthems were played, and Liang Hua, Huawei Chairman, welcomed him before showing him around the Exhibition Center.
As the chairman briefed the prime minister on Huawei’s global operations, he expressed his strong desire to invest in many areas of Pakistan. A variety of topics were also briefed to him, including artificial intelligence, digital banking, e-governance, and communications.

Prime Minister Shehbaz praised Huawei’s creative operations during a five-day visit to China and asked the company to expand its investments in Pakistan.
After a bilateral discussion between the Prime Minister and Chairman Liang Hua and his delegation, Huawei expressed appreciation for Pakistan’s Safe City initiatives and extended an invitation to invest in these projects. The focus was placed on cities where CPEC projects are currently underway, presenting a strategic opportunity for future collaboration
