First Qist For Apna Ghar Has delivered To 927 People:

During a recent meeting, Maryam Nawaz Sharif shared updates on the progress of the Punjab Housing Scheme program. She informed us that the first list of loans totaling 60 crore rupees was distributed to 927 successful candidates in the ACAG scheme.

Maryam Nawaz instructed the official to promptly finish the construction of all the first installment applicants’ houses and ensure timely disbursement of the second installment to eligible recipients under the second scheme.

Nearly 800 houses are nearing completion

In her meeting, she emphasized that of the 927 homes that received initial loan payments, 800 are nearing completion. The Punjab Apna Ghar housing program aims to provide low-income individuals in Punjab with the opportunity to own a home, as well as dignity and empowerment.

50,000 applicants’ data will be transferred to Akhuwat Foundation

In addition, Maryam Nawaz shared that the Akhuwat Foundation has received 50,000 candidate profiles for verification. So far, 38,000 have been approved and 20,900 have submitted their documents. Furthermore, a total of 8424 candidates have completed the application process.

The ACAG official portal has been a valuable tool for receiving applications and registrations. According to the CM, approximately 600,000 people have used the digital platform to register for the Punjab housing scheme. Additionally, 325,000 applications have been received through the same portal.

Targeted to construct 100,000 homes by December of 2025:

As we are aware, the construction of houses under the ACAG program is proceeding at a rapid pace. The CM has displayed her commitment by establishing a deadline to complete 47,500 houses by June 2025, with plans to have 100,000 homes built by December 2025 as part of this innovative effort.

Providing furniture to the first five houses to complete the program

In addition, Maryam Nawaz assured the first 5 households who complete their construction that they will receive furniture and necessary household items as gifts. These gifts are exclusively for the initial 5 households, and it is important to note that having a home is a cherished aspiration for every individual. She emphasized her government’s dedication to fulfilling this dream for the people.

Announcement of Brand-New 3-Marla Plot Scheme

Furthermore, the Chief Minister has introduced a new scheme for three-Marla plots, aimed at providing accessible homeownership options for those with lower incomes.

During the initial stage of this project, a total of 666 plots will be assigned to low-income families in Chistian and will subsequently be expanded to other areas within the province.

The aim of this program by the government is to enhance the living conditions of low-income individuals.
