The Ehsaas Emergency Cash Program, which former Prime Minister Imran Khan started during the COVID-19 pandemic, has been continued by the current government in 2024. There will be three installments of the program, with the first installment being distributed in august 2024, the second in August, and the third in December, providing financial assistance to low-income Pakistani families.
Update of Ehsaas Emergency Cash Program for February 2025
During a period of high expenses and low wages for the public, the Government of Pakistan has accommodated the people by giving cash help to low-income and needy people under the Ehsaas Emergency Cash Program 2025. A total of 1.2 million people will receive 14000 rupees before Eid ul Fitr under this program.
After successfully enrolling in the 8171 Ehsaas program, eligible beneficiaries will receive 14000 dollars in their bank account within three months of registering. Pakistan’s federal and provincial governments, the Pakistan poverty alleviation fund, and the Benazir Income Support program run Emergency Cash as the greatest poor-friendly program.

Budget for the Emergency Cash Program for 2025
The government has allocated 144 billion rupees for almost 1.2 million needy people in Pakistan. Ehsaas emergency cash and Ehsaas kafalat programs are the largest and recurring for low-income Pakistanis.

Ehsaas Emergency Cash Program 2025
Ehsaas emergency cash program beneficiaries are divided into three categories by the government of Pakistan.
These are the categories:-
The First Category
There are almost 4.5 million people who will benefit from the ehsas kafalat program, which includes Rs 1000 extra on top of the money they receive from the ehsaas kafalat program for four months.
The Second Category
This category includes 4 million people registered in NSER
The Third Category
There are almost 3.5 million people living in all the new districts that have been registered.

Ehsaas Emergency Cash Amount
If you receive an 8171 message, you can obtain your cash amount from your nearest ehsaas center or ATM. The ehsaas center or agent will verify your CNIC using biometrics and give you the amount.
