CM Punjab Honhaar Scholarships Cheques distribution:
On 23rd December, CM Punjab launched the 2nd Phase of Honhaar Scholarships at Fast National University of Computer and Engineering. These scholarships, provided by the Punjab government, cover all educational expenses for students. This initiative allows dedicated young scholars to pursue their academic studies at esteemed institutions within the Province. Students will receive their scholarship funds in the form of cheques. In addition, there are plans to increase the number of annual scholarships from 30,000 to 50,000.

CM Punjab Grants 2,500+ Scholarships in Phase I
Fast University of Islamabad recently granted 2570 scholarships, with the initial distribution taking place at Punjab University Maryam Nawaz. This particular phase resulted in 2473 Honhaar youth receiving the scholarships.
1886 Students of UET Lahore Benefit from Education Assistance
A total of 1,886 UET students have been granted scholarships, with 1660 awarded to those in the Public sector and 637 given to private college attendees.
Additionally, UET students can also benefit from the scholarships offered through the Honhaar Scholarship Program.
Top Universities and Medical Colleges Enlisted by Maryam Nawaz
The Punjab government is committed to providing greater access to higher education for students regardless of financial circumstances. To achieve this goal, the government has expanded its reach to include a wide range of universities and colleges within the province.
The scheme encompasses all 65 universities in Punjab, as well as 12 medical and dental colleges, 359 other colleges, and 68 diverse fields for students to pursue higher education, according to CM Punjab’s directive.
3-Tier Community-Based Supervision: Enhancing Application Procedures:
The scholarship process will be overseen by various committees, including institutional, provincial, and steering. The initial screening of applicants falls under the jurisdiction of the institutional committee. The provincial committee will oversee the overall selection process, while senior Provincial Minister Mariyam Aurangzeb will ensure transparency and fairness through the steering committee.
New E-Bikes Scheme by Maryam Nawaz: Subsidized 100,000 Bikes for Citizens
During the official release of tranche II of the Honhaar scholarship, the Chief Minister shared that the distribution of 100,000 E-Bikes to students will also take place. In the first phase of this program, a total of 27,179 bikes will be allocated by the government of Punjab. Out of these, 20,000 petrol bikes will be granted to students while 8,179 e-bikes will be given out. It is worth mentioning that female students will receive 7,479 out of these e-bikes. Currently, the Punjab government has not received 72,640 applications for the e-bike scheme.
IT Education City In Lahore
The CM of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, has recently announced the development of an “Education City” in Lahore. The goal is to attract renowned international universities to establish their campuses in Punjab.
