Punjab Government Reserves 2.6 Billion Subsidy for Welfare Scheme:

The Government of Punjab has allocated a subsidy of 2.6 billion rupees to ensure the successful implementation of the scheme. First Tranche: 27,179 Bikes Ready for Distribution

The first installment of the program in Punjab will distribute a combined 27,179 bikes to students. Specifically, 20,000 petrol bikes will be allocated to 11,676 male students and 7,324 female students. Additionally, 8,179 e-bikes will be granted to 7,479 female students and 700 male students.

Eligibility Requirements for E-Bikes

The Punjab government has reported a delay in receiving 72,640 applications for the e-bike scheme. Out of these, the majority (57,370) were for petrol bikes, while 15,270 were for electronic bikes.

CM Punjab Launches Honhaar Scholarship Phase-II

On 23 December, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the CM of Punjab, chaired the meeting at FAST University in Islamabad. The purpose was to distribute the Honhaar scholarships phase-II to deserving students from Rawalpindi.
