“Child Surgery Cards” Distributed By CM for free treatment in Punjab

“Maryam Masihai Programe” Launched In Lahore For Heart Patients
A Child Surgery Card is given to all heart patients in the Maryam Masihai Programe, so that they can do their heart treatment in any private hospital if space is not available at a government hospital.
مریم مسیحائی پروگرام میں دل کے تمام مریضوں کو چائلڈ سرجری کارڈ دیا جاتا ہے، تاکہ وہ اپنے دل کا علاج کسی بھی پرائیویٹ ہسپتال میں کروا سکیں اگر کسی سرکاری ہسپتال میں جگہ دستیاب نہ ہو۔ پیر کو وزیر اعلیٰ پنجاب مریم نواز شریف نے “مریم مسیحائی پروگرام” کا افتتاح کیا اور دل کی تکلیف میں مبتلا بچوں کو “چائلڈ سرجری کارڈ” دیا۔
On Monday, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif inaugurated the “Maryam Masihai Programme” and gave children with heart problems “Child Surgery Cards.”

Maryam Masihai program in two phases
According to Maryam Nawaz, while speaking at the ceremony, the initiative will expand to many cities of Punjab in the future, which will provide relief to more people. Therefore, there will be two stages to the launch of this initiative.

Dashboard – To Monitor The Progress Of Children’s Heart Surgery Program
A special dashboard has been created to track the progress of the Children’s Heart Surgery Program. She stressed that the program’s goal is to lessen families’ suffering, adding that she is a mother and understands the sorrow that parents experience when their children die because they lack access to healthcare.

In addition to checking the dashboard monitoring system, the chief minister visited the cardiac ward, DHU, and other hospital departments. She spoke to their parents about the care their children were receiving, and played with the children.

Expanding the Maryam Masihai Program
While discussing the death rate of heart patients during her speech at the Child Hospital in Lahore, she emphasized the fact that these important cases are neglected.
According to Maryam Nawaz, the lack of these amenities results in almost 5,000 children dying every year. This program, the first of its kind in Pakistan, will also benefit children from KPK, Sindh, and Balochistan.
