President Urges Government To Lower Bill Prices | Great News For All Electricity Consumers

Asif Ali Zardari has announced that in a few days, everyone will hear good news about the electricity bill prices, so here’s the latest announcement for all electricity consumers in Pakistan. Therefore, the Government will announce a reduction in electricity bills in the next few days, or it will offer a relief package to poor electricity consumers.

Bill Prices Should Be Lowered By Government, Asked Zardari
President Asif Zardari asked the federal administration to lower electricity costs on Independence Day to bring good news to the country.
In his opinion, current electricity prices are beyond the means of the public. In his remarks, the president emphasized, “It cannot be increased further for the people’s burden of electricity bills.” He recommended that the federal and provincial governments devise a plan to alleviate the burden, and that electricity rates be lowered immediately to provide immediate relief to the public.
He stated that: “We need a strategy to reduce electricity tariffs”
Electricity consumers who consume 0-500 units receive a relief of 14 rupees per unit
During a press conference on Friday, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and Nawaz Sharif announced some wonderful news for Punjabis following President Zardari’s call. As part of his conference, he revealed plans for Punjab’s power bills and steps being taken to reduce electricity prices.
While power costs continue to rise, he declared citizens not to be alarmed because in August and September they will receive 14 rupee relief per unit in their bills. The government will fund this relief, which will total Rs 45 billion. He also talked about a few significant problems caused by high electricity costs.
