Recently, Dr Amjad Saqib, the senior member of the Benazir Income Support Program, announced plans to use over 15 banks‘ services to ensure speedy and clear payments to the beneficiaries who have registered. He also emphasizes the importance of implementing a transparent and efficient payment system.

Senior Leadership Visit to Karachi
To thoroughly analyze the Payment System, the Senior Person of BISP visited Karachi’s Payment Disbursement Center and Benazir Regional Headquarters.
Training programs for BISP officers and staff
An BISP board meeting was held during the visit, during which Dr. Amjad Saqib suggested starting training programs for officers and staff to improve their performance.
While attending the conference, several ideas that aligned with BISP’s future goals were discussed. He continued, “BISP is Pakistan’s largest social safety net program, and we are dedicated to making sure the benefits are distributed transparently to the deserving recipients.”

Expansion of the Payment Disbursement
One of their members also demonstrated the Nashonuma and Kafaalat programs, concentrating on the Dynamic Registry process, during their meeting session.
Through the Dynamic Survey in Ehsaas Program, around 6 million people have been registered. In addition, he mentioned that more banks need to be involved in the stipend payout process so that over 2.3 million registered, worthy women in Sindh can receive financial aid.
In Karachi:
Director General Sindh Riaz Soomro briefed the board on the Kafaalat program that in Karachi alone, almost one lac 74 thousand worthy people receive quarterly stipends.
Interaction between BISP senior leadership and needy women
Dr Amjad Saqib engaged in conversation with poor women receiving Kafaalat stipends during his visit to Karachi after attending a very crucial meeting with other BISP officials.
He attentively listened to their worries and instructed officials to deal with their problems as soon as possible. To ensure order among the throng of indigent women and keep them out of line, he gave the concerned officials instructions to hire more POS agents.

He also addressed their team about their duty to Benazir Income’s poor people on the same day.
