AGAC Program Begins Rs 15 Lakh Cash Distribution: 4th October 2024 Update For Applicants
CM of Punjab Maryam Nawaz has started a new cash disbursement process for applicants of the Apna Ghar Apni Chat Scheme in Punjab starting on 4th October 2024. All the applicants who have applied for the loan will receive it very soon from the Bank of Punjab. The lucky people are the ones who have their names on the first phase ballot and will receive a full loan of Rs 15 lakh in the first phase.

Agac cheques are being distributed by the Punjab government
Maryam Nawaz, Punjab’s principal minister, and Nawaz Sharif, president of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), were the chief guests of the “Apni Chhat Apna Ghar” program.
On Wednesday, the Punjab government started distributing cheques to qualified families under the “Apni Chhat Apna Ghar” scheme. The families will receive the amount they have applied for.
Apna Ghar Apni Chat Scheme Receives 500,000 Applications
The Apna Ghar Apni Chat Scheme was launched in August by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and only then did the application process begin for the eligible people. As of now, the Punjab government has received millions of applications from the needy and eligible people and is working to support all of them.
In her remarks at the event, Maryam Nawaz said the Punjabi government is fulfilling Nawaz Sharif’s dream by allowing those in need to build their own homes. She stated that approximately 500,000 applications were received for the “Apni Chhat Apna Ghar” initiative.
E-Balloting For AGAC Programme Will Be Held Every Month
Each month, she announced, a draw-through ballot would be held for those in need to receive loans up to Rs 1.5 million.
As part of the scheme, the Punjab government will construct 100,000 homes every year, according to Maryam Nawaz.
An interest-free loan of Rs 1.5 million is available to applicants
“Apni Chhat, Apna Ghar” is the nation’s first interest-free housing project.
It was the first time in Pakistan that a housing loan based on land ownership or CNIC was approved by the provincial government. In nine years, a borrower of Rs. 1.5 million will have to make monthly installment payments of Rs. 14,000 per month.

In addition, private housing programs will offer 3 to 5 marla homes with a maximum government subsidy of PKR 1 million each.
