  • Reasonably priced Payment Plans: The Chief Minister has directed officials to reduce down payments and monthly installments so that people with low incomes can become homeowners.

Each unit will cost PKR 1.5 million, with a 60% subsidy from the Punjab government. Families will only be required to pay 40% over five years.

  • Quality Assurance: Sustainability and building criteria are stressed in order to guarantee that the dwellings will be long-lasting and environmentally friendly.
  • Model Houses: During the next six weeks, model houses will be built to showcase the design and features of the future housing units.

Who Can Apply For AGAC Housing Scheme 2024?

If you want to apply for the Apna Ghar Apni Chat Scheme, you must meet the following requirements:

  • According to NADRA records, the applicant is ahead of his/her beta (nucleus) family.
  • The applicant is a permanent resident of Punjab according to his/her CNIC.
  • At the time of online application submission, the applicant is the sole owner and possessor of a parcel of land measuring 5 Marla or less in urban areas and up to 10 Marla in rural areas anywhere in Punjab.
  • It is not acceptable for the applicant to have a criminal record, such as being convicted of anti-state, anti-social activities, or heinous crimes.
  • The applicant should not be in default with any financial institution/bank, etc.
  • A household with a PMT score of 60 or less is registered with the National Socioeconomic Registry (NSER).

Apna Ghar Apni Chat Scheme Future Plans

As part of the program, more than 3,000 dwelling units will be constructed in every district, starting with Rawalpindi, Multan, Faisalabad, Sialkot, and Sargodha, which are the five largest cities in Pakistan. In Lahore, construction will begin with 5,000 homes near Raiwind Road.
