Punjab Offers Over 41 Services At Your Doorstep: Dastak Program Review

The Punjab Government has reviewed the Datak Programme in Punjab in a meeting that Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar chaired on 26th August, Monday. To address this issue, Maryam Nawaz launched the Dastak App, which offers more than 40 services at your doorstep in addition to providing jobs to youth.

Dastak provides more than 41 services in Lahore
In a recent meeting in Lahore, the Chief Secretary chaired a meeting to review the Dastak Programme Service and make necessary amendments. During the meeting, it was found that over 41 services are provided by the Dastak App at the public’s doorsteps in Lahore.

In Lahore, 41 services are available, including domicile, e-stamping, six birth, death, and marriage certificates. As he mentioned, with the help of IT, they are making everyone’s lives easier and more comfortable, as residents can get work done at home without visiting government offices.

PITB’s chairman, the officers in question, and the administrative secretaries of a number of departments attended the meeting, including local government, communication, and works. According to the chief secretary, the Punjab government uses information technology to make people’s lives easier through the Dastak program, which allows citizens to receive services from home without having to visit offices.
