CM Punjab Introduces 2nd Phase of Honhaar Scholarship Program

2nd Phase Of Honhaar Scholarships
On Monday 23rd December 2024, the Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, inaugurated the second phase of Honhaar Scholarships at Fast National University of Computer and Engineering in Rawalpindi. These scholarships will cover all expenses related to education for students in Punjab. The government is committed to supporting talented students and providing them with access to prestigious educational institutions within the Province. As a result, ambitious young scholars can excel in their academic pursuits at these esteemed hubs of learning.

Criteria for eligibility were established for those students interested in receiving scholarships from the Punjab government. The scholarships offered by the Punjab government will cover all educational expenses for exceptionally talented students.
Online Application Portal For Students
The scholarship application procedure in Punjab will now be conducted online, as announced by the CM. This measure aims to simplify the process and promote transparency for students throughout the province participating in the Scholarship Programme.
Goal to Give 30,000 Scholarships in 4 Years

Eligibility Criteria for CM Maryam Nawaz Honhaar Scholarships

Educational Empowerment: 68 Fields & 65 Units for Student Growth

Rawalpindi Phase II Scholarships: 2,570 Opportunities for Students
During the initial stage of the scholarship disbursement at Punjab University, Maryam Nawaz allocated a total of 2473 scholarships. At the distribution meeting held on 23 December, she disbursed an additional 2,570 scholarships. This showcases the extensive scope of the Honhaar Scholarship Program.
1886 UET Lahore Students Benefit from Scholarship Provision
The Honhaar Scholarship Program has also granted scholarships to students enrolled at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore. A total of 1,886 UET students have received these scholarships, with 1,660 awarded to those in the public sector and 637 to those attending private colleges.
