BISP Benefits More Than 2 Million Beneficiaries Of Balochistan Through 43 Tehsil Centers

According to the latest update by the bisp official portal, many senior persons have visited the Areas in Balochistan to examine all the facilities available at Tehsil centers and BISP. The new chairperson had stated that the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) is a ray of hope for Balochistan’s deserving citizens.
Naveed Akbar informed the attendees that BISP centers are operating in 158 sub-tehsils and 43 tehsils in Balochistan.
A total of two million Balochistanians are receiving benefits from the Benazir Income Support Programme. As well, the Chairperson was informed that 20 billion rupees are being disbursed to Balochistan beneficiaries through a number of welfare programs, such as Taleemi Wazaif, the Benazir Kafaalat Program, the Benazir Nashonuma Program, and others.
Balochistan Satellite Van Survey to Increase Access to BISP
During her visit to Hub, she gave the Speech at the LIEDA Conference Hall regarding the Benazir Income Support Program in Balochistan. Due to a lack of internet connectivity in many remote areas of Balochistan, many recipients are unable to take advantage of the initiative.
Satellite vans were cited as a remedy for this issue. Currently, 18 of the 25 satellite vans allotted to the BISP program are in use in 18 districts.
Strategy For Making Easy Payments In Balochistan
In response to Chairman Bilawal Bhutto’s instructions, Senator Rubina Khalid announced that BISP beneficiaries’ payments would be simplified. Asif Ali Zardari instructed the Governor of the State Bank to expedite efforts to ensure that cards are issued and paid promptly. As a result of the establishment of seven new zones, Balochistan’s BISP coverage is also expanding.
