Registration Vans Operational In 18 Districts: NSER Survey Through 18 Satellite Vans

The Benazir Income Support Program is currently assisting countless individuals across the country who qualify for the Kafalat 12500 Program. However, there are still numerous remote areas that lack internet access and are unaware of the Bisp Program. In order to increase awareness and extend the reach of the BISP Nser survey to these regions, the new Chairperson has launched 18 Satellite Vans in 18 districts. These vans will travel to these underprivileged areas in Balochistan to conduct surveys and register eligible families for the program.
Balochistan’s BISP launches 18 satellite vans
During her Hub visit, she gave a speech and chaired a meeting at the LIEDA Conference Hall regarding the Benazir Income Support Program in Balochistan. The attendees noted that numerous beneficiaries were not benefiting from the program due to limited internet access in remote areas of Balochistan. To address this issue, the need for satellite vans was emphasized. Currently, 18 out of the allotted 25 satellite vans are operational in 18 districts under the BISP program.
The BISP’s latest survey of Kafalat 12500 is based on 18 vans
For next month’s Payment, BISP has begun a new survey, which will only be available to beneficiaries who have completed the NSER Survey and registered for the Benazir Kafalat Program. In order to ensure eligibility for the new Benazir Beneficiary Payment, all newly registered people as well as those who re-survey after 2021 will be included on the new list of Benazir Beneficiaries to be finalized by the end of September.
To ensure that the help reaches all the poor and deserving families as soon as possible, Bisp is running its Vans that conduct door-to-door surveys. They will receive their financial support every three months once they have registered for the Benazir 12500 new payments program.
Why Are Satellite Vans Being Started in Balochistan?
Since many remote areas of Balochistan lack internet connectivity, many recipients are unable to take advantage of the program. Satellite vans were emphasized as a solution to this issue.
The DG BISP mentioned during the briefing that numerous beneficiaries had faced difficulties accessing the program as computerized birth certificates and Form B were unavailable in rural parts of Balochistan, particularly in mountainous areas like Mashkilal, Driji, and Kinraj. Senator Rubina Khalid emphasized the need to prioritize the deployment of satellite mobile vans to address the shortage of staff and assist disadvantaged individuals living in remote regions.
There are 43 main tehsils in Balochistan serving two million beneficiaries
Naveed Akbar informed attendees during the briefing that BISP centers are located in 158 sub-tehsils and 43 tehsils in Balochistan.
Two million Balochistanians are receiving benefits through the Benazir Income Support Programme. The Chairperson was also informed that 20 billion rupees are being distributed to Balochistan’s beneficiaries through several welfare programs, including Taleemi Wazaif, Benazir Kafaalat, Benazir Nashonuma, and others.
Easy Payments Of Installments Through The State Bank
Following Chairman Bilawal Bhutto’s directives, Senator Rubina Khalid announced that efforts are underway to simplify BISP beneficiary financial assistance payments. Asif Ali Zardari has instructed the State Bank Governor to ensure timely card issuance and payment, and Balochistan’s BISP coverage is expanding with the creation of seven new zones.
In conclusion
In conclusion, the introduction of 18 satellite vans by the BISP is an essential step towards expanding its reach to remote areas of Balochistan. BISP aims to make Benazir Kafalat Support accessible to all eligible families by addressing internet connectivity issues and conducting door-to-door surveys. As a result of expanding coverage and simplifying payment processes, the government shows its commitment to providing assistance to beneficiaries in underserved areas.
