E-bike Scheme Subsidized By Punjab Government – 10,000 More Bikes Will Be Added In This Scheme | 2024
Punjab’s CM Maryam Nawaz has called the 12th Cabinet meeting in Lahore, in which the Government of Punjab announced some very important schemes and a new project that will be implemented soon.

According to the Punjab Government, one of the main announcements was about the E-Bikes scheme in which the government would not charge students any initial fees except the allowance, and about 10,000 more bikes will be added.

Punjab’s chief minister, Maryam Nawaz, denied accepting the students’ initial payments for the e-bike program.
With regard to the e-bike program, the Cabinet has ordered the Punjab government to cover all expenses except insurance. Punjab will now cover registration, paperwork, license plates, and other related costs.

The scheme will add 10,000 more e-bikes
A number of important announcements were made during this most important session, including one from the CM of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, who announced that 10,000 more bikes would soon be distributed to students who have applied for the Punjab Bikes Scheme.
According to her, more registrations will be started for the Bike Scheme so that the youth of Punjab can travel to their destinations in comfort.

A cabinet meeting approved the formation of the Punjab Enforcement and Regulatory Authority, as well as a policy on e-transfers for school and higher education.
During the meeting, it was also decided that the DC would be able to enforce Section 144 for 30 days, the Home Secretary for 90 days, and the provincial government for an extended period.
